A new European project called “The School for the Schools” is taking shape, aimed at training teachers on the use of leadership strategies in schools, with a particular focus on the post-pandemic context.
The project is funded by the European Union and is led by Forium, a training agency based in Santa Croce sull’Arno. Eight partners are participating in the project, including eight training institutions from seven European countries (Italy, Romania, Sweden, Spain, Poland, Greece, and Bulgaria); Italy is represented by the ‘Cattaneo’ Technical Institute of San Miniato.
The overall objective of the project is to explore the development of educational leadership among teachers in the post-pandemic context and in emergency situations in general. S4S is directly aimed at teachers who want to positively influence their students, helping them make and share decisions, as well as grow autonomously and consciously.
Thanks to S4S, teachers can better stimulate their students to enhance their professional skills according to their individual competencies and aptitudes.
In the first meeting, which took place in June at the ‘Cattaneo’ premises in San Miniato, the key points of the project were outlined, aiming to create a true training curriculum for the teachers involved in the project and an online space where they can follow the entire project.
To follow the project, a website is active (https://s4s.erasmus.site/it/) along with four social media profiles dedicated to the developments of the entire initiative (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest).
